Whistleblower turns up dead after revealing that The Sphere is really a spherical cap

Date:

LAS VEGAS – Another mysterious death was added to the annals of Vegas gangsterism after the body of Tyler Ericsson was found on the outskirts of town shortly after revealing that the city’s famed Sphere entertainment venue was, in reality, a spherical cap.

Las Vegas PD spokesperson Meredith Cho announced the death to a throng of reporters early this morning. “This definitely doesn’t look like a random incident,” Ms. Cho began. “It certainly appears that Mr. Ericsson lost his life due to his tireless service to his cause”.

“He definitely ruffled a lot of feathers, with the way he would interject himself into any conversation that mentioned the building, to explain that its placement on the ground meant that any description of it as a ‘sphere’ was inaccurate due to its planar bottom”.

“Our current working-theories are that either he was the victim of a dark far-reaching conspiracy, or that someone just found him incredibly annoying”.

When queried as to whether Police have any leads on possible motives Ms. Cho did offer some details. “We have been hearing a lot of chatter suggesting that Tyler had upset a lot of people in the Globalist community. By which I mean people who really like globes”.

Asked by reporters whether there is any possible merit to rumours that Mr. Ericsson was the victim of one of the many entertainers who have made use of the locale, the spokesperson was notably cautious, saying “I don’t want to cater to speculation, but it does merit pointing out that he suffered injuries from what appears to be a knife’s EDGE”.
