NFL buzzing after wide receiver expresses satisfaction with role

Date:

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Sports media conversation was dominated, today, by the news that Browns Wide receiver Daron Holmes is content with his usage.

The shocking revelation came following the team’s loss this past Sunday, when cameras caught the outfit’s leader in receiving yards animatedly conversing with team quarterback Aaron Murray. A obviously agitated Holmes explained “I told him, this is the NFL, where poor quarterbacking can sink teams! And if he’s in the NFL, then it’s clear that he’s a very talented, and my disappointing outing was probably the result of the opposition being good athletes”. He continued, “or Aaron just thought it would be better to pass to one of our other receivers, who also happen to be NFL players, and thus be can be counted on to occasionally catch a football”.

“What everyone needs to know is that I’m the best receiver in the game, and I want to be somewhere where that’s appreciated! Which I am. So, I’m fine”.

Murray, who was spotted having with a concerned expression on his face while being poked in the chest by the All-Pro Holmes. gave his version of the dramatic scene. “He said that he thinks my pads might have some weak spots, and that I should probably get them looked at, lest I suffer an injury. He didn’t even give me the chance to say that I probably should’ve given him a few more targets when he we left to tell our kicker that he’s a valuable member of the team!”.

At press time, Holmes has sent tongues wagging, once again, after an ESPN investigation uncovered evidence that he doesn’t use social media.
